Sounding Body

Sounding Body is a six-minute work for solo harp, written for Danielle Kuntz on a programme curated by the Steel Collective. The piece sits with the stillness and the unease that come from being alone with the mind; it asks the listener to attend to the harp’s resonance and harmonics rather than to incident, and to sit with both the discomfort and the comfort that emerge once the surrounding stimulation thins out.
