Seaboard Prelude

Seaboard Prelude is a four-minute solo for the ROLI Seaboard — the continuous-surface MIDI controller that became a central instrument during my undergraduate years. The piece sits in the same family as Elestial, Ode to Falmouth, and Ground-Sky: a set of early studies in what the Seaboard’s per-note bend, pressure, and slide could ask of compositional language.
