Ground-Sky

Ground-Sky is a ten-minute work for digital piano and live processing, growing out of the same undergraduate engagement with just intonation that produced Fantasy Suite. The piano holds a fixed just intonation tuning rooted on A♭, and the processing — a delay feeding a reverb — lets those retuned pitches accumulate and ring beneath the playing. The work appears on the album Imaginary Keyboards on Bandcamp.
